Counter-Ideology analysis targets the use of ideology by hostile entities, by impairing the adoption and replication of terrorist or extremist ideologies. Counter-Ideology reduces the efficacy of hostile ideologies by degrading the transmission fidelity, longevity, fecundity, environmental fitness, and validity of ideology as well as increases the cognitive dissonance of potential ideological subscribers/adopters. Rejecting the exclusive logical approach, Counter-Ideology identifies real-world components of ideology that affect ideological validity.
